Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) or
the Protect-IP Act (PIPA)
were to become law.
apThe proposed U.S. legislation,
backed by the dying media conglomerates, would seriously hurt web sites
publishing content generated by a site's visitors. Sites could be taken down
without due process.
